Kids Open Day – Making Orthodontics Fun!

We recently hosted a Kids Open Day at Specialist Orthodontic Practice in Glenageary — and it was a wonderful success!

The clinic was filled of smiles, laughter, and excitement as families joined us for a fun and friendly introduction to orthodontic care.

We created a relaxed and welcoming environment for children to explore what it’s like to visit an orthodontist with face painting session, goodies bag and educational activities. Our goal is to show young patients and their parents that orthodontics isn’t scary at all.

From gentle first check-ups to learning about teeth straightening options like clear braces and invisible aligners, the open day helped build confidence and curiosity around dental health. Children met our specialist orthodontist Dr. Finn Geoghegan, had a look around the clinic, and even got to try out our digital scanner — no goopy impressions here!

A huge thank you to all the families who came along, and to our amazing team for creating such a warm, positive experience. We believe that when kids feel safe and supported from the start, their entire orthodontic journey becomes easier and more enjoyable.
