Overbite
An overbite is where the upper front teeth stand too far forward (stick out) over the lower teeth.
At the Specialist Orthodontic Practice our orthodontic specialists and orthodontic nurses are experienced in treating all kinds of orthodontic problems. Although we each have a unique set of teeth, many of the orthodontic issues we face are the same.
If you suffer from any of the following orthodontic conditions, we can help correct these, straighten your teeth and improve your overall oral health and well-being.
An overbite is where the upper front teeth stand too far forward (stick out) over the lower teeth.
An underbite is where the lower teeth are too far forward or the upper teeth too far back.
A crossbite is when the upper teeth do not come down slightly in front of the lower teeth when biting together normally.
An open bite is space between the biting surfaces of the front and/or side teeth when the back teeth bite together.
Crowding occurs when there are too many teeth for the dental ridge to accommodate.
